I was skeptical, but I actually really enjoyed this documentary about Anna Wintour and the making of the Vogue September Issue (Vogue's biggest issue of the year). If anything, go see it for Creative Director Grace Coddington, she's kind of hysterical and totally steals the show. Not to mention she's a creative genius. Or even Andre Leon Talley in his Louis Vuitton tennis get-up. It's a weird world in which we, eh em, they live.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Radio City 9.23.09 One of the most amazing shows I've seen in a while. Maybe ever. Oh and I'd like to thank Radio City for those blue glow sticks they put in our drinks. Those kept me entertained for the next few days.

I really like Starbucks' new advertising campaign with smart, simple copy and engaging design elements. Some argue that this new campaign, created by BBDO New York, doesn't portray Starbucks' brand promise, but I think it's a refreshing, new way to approach its loyal market. I'm a fan. I'm also in advertising so other people might not know what the hell I'm talking about. Humor me.
