a new medium for artists.

The June cover for the New Yorker will feature a painting by artist Jorge Colombo, that he pained ON HIS iPHONE. Using the Paint Brush Application, Jorge "finger-painted" the facade of Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in Times Square. Best of all, it only took him about an hour.

Strike a pose

Last weekend I went to a dog birthday party for my friend's Yorkie puppy, Mya. I brought Hazel along and she got her picture taken. She's such a little model, it's kind of ridiculous.

Thanks to my friend Lillian for the cute photos. Check out more of her photography on her blog, FRESH.

Agent Lola

Check out this jewelry by Hawaiian designer, Agent Lola. It's so lovely!

Hello 4G

Apple has leaked some of its new design features for the iPhone 4G. The date for its release has yet to be set, but I'm hoping for a summer debut. The new design has the capability to allow people to communicate via iChat on their iPhone, basically video chatting instead of having actual phone conversations. My mind has been blown. I'm going to go camp out in front of the Apple store starting tomorrow, who wants to join me?

my new spring dress

If it's going to rain in Georgia every single day this spring, then I'm just going to create my own.

It's been a while.

Sorry for not updating my blog recently, I was in New York City (I know... tough life, right?). My friends from school and I were visiting for The One Show, one of the advertising industry's biggest award shows. We saw some great work, met some really cool people, celebrated Cinco de Mayo/birthdays, danced in a hair salon, and walked, a lot. A little exhausting, but enjoyable as always. Seriously, this city never fails to amaze me.

The Black Kids, The Sunbears, and lots of confetti.

Last night, I went to see The Black Kids perform at the Loft. It was such a terrific show, full of energy, confetti, and obnoxious dancing. The Sunbears! opened for them and also put on a really entertaining show (combine MGMT's synth duo with The Flaming Lips' stage theatrics and you've got Sunbears!). I highly recommend you download both bands if you haven't already.
