Fascinating Fascinators

I was in awe of some of the amazing hats worn to the Royal Wedding this morning (minus Princess Beatrice's, yikes!). I sure hope this trend catches on in the US. I'd gladly sport one of these gorgeous "fascinators"... to at least one wedding. : )

The Royal Wedding

As of 6:00 AM EST tomorrow, Prince William will no longer be the World's Most Eligible Bachelor...

But to tell you the truth, I was always a Prince Harry fan myself.
Harry, if you're reading, I'm single & ready to mingle.

Check out all the coverage of The Royal Wedding and don't forget to tune in, bright and early tomorrow for the ceremony of the century. Or, if you're like most of us, make sure your DVR is set.

Madison+Main Wins a Cannonball at the Richmond Ad Show

When Gene Cox took the stage and began to address the audience as “a room full of hookers,” we knew it was going to be an entertaining night. In fact, when you’re surrounded by some of the most talented and influential creatives in Richmond, a boring night is the last thing you’d expect. This year’s annual Richmond Ad Show was nothing short of spectacular with captivating work, an energetic crowd and, of course, an open bar. To top it off, Madison+Main took home a Bronze Cannonball in the “Best Online Video under $50,000″ category for our Yard Works “Spot the Squatch” Interactive YouTube video...

Fun with Ball Jars

My recent obsession with collecting Ball Jars has left me looking for fun ways to repurpose these antique glass baubles... so I went image searching for some inspiration. Here's what I've found so far. Do you have any fun uses for old jars? I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Cute Roulette

Speaking of cuteness, this might be the coolest dog bed I've ever seen. It's made out of an old suitcase. Fun!

My 500th Post!

There are very few times in our lives when we can celebrate the 500th of something. Birthdays and anniversaries are out of the question. And unless you're celebrating how many times you've brushed your teeth this past year (and let's hope it's well over 500), then it's a rare occasion to acknowledge the 500th of something. Except today. This post officially marks my 500th blog post. 500. Really? Somehow, over the course of three years, I've managed to set aside time in my day for myself, and for all of my lovely followers, to reflect on something I've found that intrigues and excites me!

I certainly feel like I've hit a milestone and can't wait to see where my blog goes from here. As always, much love and thanks again for following!

Interiors

As my search for an apartment continues, I can't help but envision just how I'm going to decorate said apartment. So I'm taking to my blog to create a digital mood board. Here are a few preliminary thoughts.

Have you ever watched the moon rise?

Beth Hoeckel's mixed media collages have a retro yet futuristic feel.
Her unique choices of objects and settings stand juxtaposed with just the right amount of irony.
Take a look.
