Gone bike riding.

New tires on the bike. Must mean it's time for joyriding. Yay!

Honor MJ by dressing like him.

He'll forever be remembered for his music, his dance moves, his wacky weirdness, and even his fashion.

Something old, something new.

I got new shoes! New, old-school shoes. I think my Nan had a pair!

Zack Morris on Jimmy Fallon

The other night Mark Paul Gosselaar, aka Zack Morris, guest starred on Jimmy Fallon. I was immediately taken back to my 5th grade crush all over again. He was in character for the entire show, even using his gigantic "Zack Morris cell phone" to call Jessie Spano. He even sang the Saved By the Bell graduation song, "Friends Forever" with The Roots. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Saved By the Bell reunion. Maybe even a remake series like 90210. Ah, nostalgia.

Current Mood: Calm

These art installations by artist Spencer Finch put me in a very calm mood during my week of chaos as I prepare for my 7th quarter panel. It's hectic around here and these images help me sit back, relax, and take a breath.

The Poster List

In case you were looking to buy me a present for my half birthday (it will be on August 1st), I love posters from The Poster List. They're really fantastic!

Necklushes

I love wearing scarves year-round, but in Georgia, the summer is too hot to wear my favorite accessory. Well, I just found a solution. The Necklush is a perfect way to wear a "scarf" during the warmer months. Using cotton loops, it creates a fun, trendy look that can serve as either a scarf or a necklace.

MGMT - Kids

MGMT just released the official video for one of their first songs, Kids. It's by far one of their strangest videos, but definitely lives up to their trippy persona. I like the idea that the video personifies what kind of monster this song has become, "it's taken on a life of its own." But the poor kid in the video will be traumatized for sure, if not by the monsters, then by the crazy drugs he was probably on. But no matter how weird their videos get or how much guyliner Andrew is wearing, I will always love this frickin' band.
