Dinner Sisters
My friend Melanie and her sister Marian started a food blog on TUMBLR called Dinner Sisters. It's written as letters between the two as they share recipes and cooking tips — such a cute idea. Dexter Inspired Posters
I just started watching Dexter... I know, a little late jumping on the bandwagon, but instantly recognized some of the iconography when I saw these awesome posters by Ty Mattson on Twig & Thistle. How cool is the use of color and in conjunction with vector shapes in this visual story? Definitely bloodthirsty for more designs like this...
Rogue Wave, Midlake & Peter Wolf Crier
Last week I went to see Rogue Wave play at a small venue in Chapel Hill. It was such a fun, energetic show. I also really enjoyed the other bands they're touring with — Midlake and Peter Wolf Crier, both worth checking out. Looks like their fall tour is wrapping up but they are playing in San Francisco this coming weekend, so if you're in the area, definitely go... if not for any other reason, to check out the cute keyboardist's awesome dance moves.
