I recently went to see Arcade Fire play in Charlottesville at the downtown Pavillion. Besides being about 100 degrees outside (no joke!), it had to be one of the best live shows I've seen in a while. They played all of my favorite songs, ending with an encore of "Wake Up" and "Sprawl II." I tried to find a quality YouTube video from the show, but decided to post a similar video from last year's show at Madison Square Garden (the cinematography is much better!). I loved that they ended the concert with this song... and when Regine Chassagne sang "Can someone please cut the lights?" they did just that.
I'm pretty excited to see Woody Allen's new movie Midnight in Paris. It has already opened in New York and friends claim it's so good, they've actual gone to the theatre multiple times to see it. The cast looks great and although it looks like just another rom-com that takes place in Paris, I have full-faith that Woody Allen (with some help from Owen Wilson) will entertain us all.
Now, when will this movie come to a theatre near me?
