Daydreaming in the Sleepy Poet

If you know me or if you simply follow this blog, you're probably aware that I'm completely enamored with vintage and antique shopping. So today, I drove down to Charlotte to check out The Sleepy Poet Antique Mall. I spent the better part of my afternoon getting lost in ornate furnishings, aged electronics and old vinyls. Absolutely amazing stuff, all at incredibly affordable prices. There's also a clothing section inside (if you can find it in the giant maze of a warehouse) called Kitsch-y Cool Vintage. And while I could have easily dropped a couple thou, that is if I had a cute little house to furnish, I was good today and ended up leaving with a chic Parisian inspired frame and black stirrup pants... for less than $10! Definitely check out The Sleepy Poet if you live anywhere in the area. And while you're at it, check out a nifty little
part of Charlotte with some more eclectic shops and eateries on Central Avenue, only about 10 minutes away.
